This superb vintage Telecaster is the one that got away. A collector's dream, this fine Tele Deluxe is in the desirable "rocking horse" Mocha Brown and comes with its original case and a truckload of vintage vibe.
The first all Humbucking Telecaster along with its Thinline cousin, from 1972 onwards, this large headstock Tele Deluxe has Seth Lover Wide Range Humbuckers and a very playable maple neck. The neck has some subtle flaming and some birds eye in places.
There is notable buckle rash and arm wear and numerous dinks from actual gigging, but the frets are pretty good , fret dressed so quite flat but we think original, and the neck feels amazing in the hand. Three bolt neck and 3 way selector switch plus two volumes / two tones. One ferrule is non original (fat E), eveything else looks good.
A lot of wise players and investors are snapping up Tele Deluxes, Thinlines and Keith Richards style Customs, their true forte is the sheer quality of sounds at your fingertips. Just ask anyone who owns one..
